The Area Director of Rooms is a strategic and hands‑on leader responsible for all rooms division operations across three unique Maryland properties. This role oversees front office, reservations, housekeeping, and guest experience, ensuring operational excellence, revenue optimization, and brand consistency across a complex, multi‑property environment.

• 24 rooms
• Full‑service boutique resort
• Mews PMS

• 7 luxury houses (~24 total rooms)
• Inventory sold as 7 individual homes (not by room)
• Transitioning to Mews PMS by end of July

• 2 large estate homes (~24 total rooms)
• Inventory sold as entire homes only
• Mews PMS

• 5+ years of progressive leadership in Rooms Division or Multi‑Property Operations
• Experience with boutique hotels and resorts
• Strong knowledge of PMS systems (Mews preferred)
• Proven ability to manage complex inventory models (rooms + whole‑property rentals)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Multi‑property or cluster oversight experience
• Experience with independent/lifestyle hospitality brands
• Background in high‑touch guest experience environments

• Strategic thinking and operational execution
• Revenue awareness and data‑driven decision‑making
• Change management (especially system transitions)
• Guest‑centric mindset
• Team building and coaching
