Work Location & Schedule- Hybrid role based in Brentwood, TN (Maryland Farms):
In-office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - Remote Monday and Friday
The Payroll, HRIS, and Benefits Manager is responsible for overseeing payroll operations, HRIS system administration, and benefits programs to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. This role collaborates cross-functionally to enhance systems, reporting, and employee support while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities HRIS Administration- Manage HRIS system setup, configuration, and workflow optimization
- Generate standard and custom reports for leadership, HR, and compliance needs
- Partner with Learning & Development to support HRIS training and performance review processes
- Oversee bi-weekly payroll for all pay groups, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Hire, onboard, train, and manage payroll staff (including contingent labor)
- Develop and refine payroll processes and internal controls
- Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations, and manage off-cycle payrolls
- Maintain payroll records and resolve discrepancies
- Administer health insurance, 401(k), and leave programs
- Partner with VP of People & Culture, CFO, and benefits brokers for open enrollment and reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Manage compliance reporting including ACA and EEO-1
