Position SummaryThe HR Assistant supports daily Human Resources operations, including record management, compliance tracking, onboarding, reporting, and front desk support. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on HR experience in a collaborative, mission-driven organization.

Pay Range$17-$20/hourly
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and file HR documents
- Process employee name changes and update systems
- Maintain HR compliance postings
- Assist with annual PCORI fee processing
- Run monthly HR reports
- Archive terminated employee files
- Prepare new hire welcome kits and s
- Respond to employment verification requests Maintain I-9 binders and documentation
- Serve as ESS system contact for new hires and updates
- Monitor excluded driver reports and MVA records
- Update employee portal and internal HR displays
- Order office supplies and HR materials
- Provide front desk coverage as needed
- Support HR projects and audits
- Assist with agency inspections
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- HR degree or related experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- HRIS experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and CJIS background check
- Ability to lift or push up to 10 lbs
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Full range of motion in arms, hands, and fingers
- Ability to see, hear, and speak clearly
