Arundel Lodge isseeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Human Resources Generalist to support thedaily operations ofour Human Resources Department. This roleis responsible forfull-cycle recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, benefits administration, employee records management, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service whilesupportinga mission-driven organization.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Partner with managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Create and postjob requisitions using
Lever Applicant Tracking System. - Source,screen, and coordinate interviews for qualified candidates.
- Extend employment offersand facilitate thehiring process.
- Coordinate temporary staffing needs with staffing agencies.
- Attend job fairsand recruitment eventsas needed.
- Maintain applicant tracking and recruitment records.
- Work with third party agencies (on need only base for CC positions)
- Coordinate and facilitate biweekly onboarding fornew employees.
- Schedule and conduct
New Hire Orientation. - Complete pre-employment background and reference checks.
- Ensure a positive and engaging onboarding experience.
Human Resources Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
- Process new hires, employment changes, and terminations.
- Update employee information within the HRIS.
- Conduct quarterly personnel file audits.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and employment regulations.
- Create fillable forms ( Adobe Pro)
- Administer employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Assist with annual
Open Enrollment. - Respond to employee benefit inquiries and provide support asneeded.
- Partner with leadership to promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Foster positive employee relations and collaborative working relationships.
- Support additional HR projects and department initiatives as assigned.
- Visit residential homes if needed.
$41,000 - $50,000 a year
QualificationsPreferred Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Three to fiveyears of Human Resources experience.
- Experience in behavioral healthcare or anon profit environment isa plus.
- Experience using Lever Applicant Tracking Systemis preferred.
- Three to Five years using Adobe Pro
- Three to Five years using ADP
- Knowledge of employmentlaws and HRbest practices.
- Strong organizational andtime management skills with the abilityto prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Human Resource Information Systems(HRIS).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to travel locally to jobfairs and recruitment events as needed.
