Recruitment Consultant

About the Role Perth Plate and REO are seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join our team. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities, supporting the ongoing workforce requirements of Perth Plate and REO, as well as providing recruitment support to related entities within the wider business structure where required. Due to ongoing operational requirements and continued recruitment demand, this position will play an important role in attracting, assessing and selecting suitable candidates to support our workforce needs.

• Receive and review recruitment requirements from managers, including position details, duties, skills requirements, experience requirements, employment conditions and workforce needs.
• Prepare, develop and advertise job vacancies through recruitment platforms including SEEK and other relevant channels.
• Source suitable candidates through job advertisements, recruitment databases, referrals and other recruitment methods.
• Review applications, screen candidates and assess suitability against position requirements.
• Conduct interviews and candidate assessments to identify suitable applicants.
• Coordinate the recruitment process from vacancy identification through to candidate selection and commencement.
• Provide recruitment recommendations and updates to managers regarding candidate suitability and recruitment progress.
• Communicate with candidates regarding available positions, role requirements and employment conditions.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment documentation and recruitment reporting.
• Coordinate reference checks, pre-employment checks and onboarding activities.
• Maintain recruitment activity records and monitor vacancy progress.
• Manage recruitment activities for Perth Plate and REO, while providing recruitment support to related businesses where required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A qualification in Human Resources, Business, Recruitment or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Strong experience in candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to build effective relationships with managers, candidates and employees.
