Business Intelligence Analyst I/II at Tower Federal Credit Union
Signing Bonus: $1,000 effective 1/20/2024
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Salaried Range: $65,844 - $82,306
The Business Intelligence Analyst I (BIA) assists in the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, reports, and basic data models, presents findings to stakeholders, and contributes to self‑service reporting tools.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Create data visualizations to support understanding of key metrics and trends.
- Develop recurring and ad‑hoc reports using data from the enterprise data warehouse and systems of record.
- Gather requirements and build data models based on stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with IT and information security teams to ensure data integrity and security.
- Develop basic to intermediate reports and visualizations using Power BI and Power Query.
- Stay current with new Power BI features and best practices.
- Assist senior analyst(s) in solving business problems using basic analytical and technical methods.
- Evaluate third‑party tools and services under senior staff direction.
- Perform related duties when assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience developing BI solutions.
- Microsoft Power BI experience with Azure Data Services is a plus.
- Python scripting and programming experience is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence stack is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Skills and Abilities
- Data modeling, ETL processes, and database management.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in DAX queries on Power BI desktop.
- Proficiency with SQL (DDL, DML, stored procedures).
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
