CNO - Telecommunication Technician - Cisco, VMWare

The Telecommunication Technician analyzes complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and configuring operating systems and protocol suites for virtualized and containerized systems. Resolve interoperability problems to ensure operation across host, hypervisor, and guest nodes. Load and configure cloud servers and vendor (e.g., Cisco, Juniper) or white box routers and switches. Support hardware and software acquisition and subcontractor services.

Act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Eight (8) years of experience providing technical support for the engineering and testing of complex software and hardware systems in the communication field. HS diploma or GED is required.

• Experience with network planning for telecommunications switches
• Experience with integration and system-level testing of telecommunications systems or platforms
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking equipment
• Experience with VMWare, QEMU, KVM, or Docker
• Experience with Linux or Open Stack
• Knowledge of telephony and telecommunication
• Knowledge of networking services
• Knowledge of software-defined networking

• Cisco CCNA or equivalent
• RHCSA

Erias Ventures provides a comprehensive package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $210,000, depending on education and experience.
