We deliver innovative custom application development services, mobile app development services, high‑load e‑commerce solutions, as well as website testing and support to businesses and enterprises all over the globe.

We are looking for a Test Engineer & Center of Excellence Lead for our customer — AiRISTA.

AiRISTA is a global leader in delivering state‑of‑the‑art wireless solutions and technologies, driving innovation in indoor location services. The mission is to empower businesses across diverse industries — including healthcare, industrial, government, and education — by optimizing process flows, automating monitoring, and enhancing personnel safety with real‑time location data.

They are seeking a motivated Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of the RTLS and IoT solutions while leading customer demonstrations in the Center of Excellence (CoE). This dual‑role combines hands‑on testing with cross‑functional collaboration to validate system performance, troubleshoot issues, and showcase their technology to clients and partners. Reporting to the Director of Integrated Product Solutions, the Test Engineer will lead testing efforts and establish best practices across the organization;

manage the CoE and coordinate customer demonstrations; collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Professional Services; drive continuous improvement in documentation and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep technical understanding of AiRISTA’s software and hardware products. Be capable of deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting them in both controlled test and customer‑like environments.
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for AiRISTA’s RTLS hardware and software components.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing across various environments.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
  • Automate test processes where applicable to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test results and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Assist Tier 2 and Tier 3 support teams by replicating field scenarios in the COE to troubleshoot complex customer issues and contribute to timely issue resolution.
  • Customer Demonstration Leadership.
  • Ensure demo systems are always operational, up‑to‑date, and reflective of real‑world deployments, including IoT and RTLS integrations.
  • Lead live demonstrations of RTLS and IoT solutions in the Center of Excellence, tailored to customer use cases.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to prepare demo scenarios, including those requiring advanced technical setups.
  • Gather customer feedback during demos and relay insights to product and engineering teams.
  • Act as a technical ambassador, clearly communicating complex concepts (including IoT, networking, and data analytics) to non‑technical audiences.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software and hardware testing, preferably in IoT or RTLS environments.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks.
  • Hands‑on experience with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT), device management, and cloud integration.
  • Advanced proficiency with Wireshark for network protocol analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with SQL databases for RTLS server setup, configuration, data validation, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience with Windows Servers and Virtual Machines (VMs), including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to explain complex technical items clearly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable speaking with customers.
  • Experience with location technologies (e.g., Wi‑Fi, BLE, UWB).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
  • Experience with networking, routing, firewall configuration, protocol analysis, and live data traffic troubleshooting is highly desirable.
  • Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA), Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP), Wireshark Certified Network Analyst (WCNA).
Preferred Requirements & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
