Position: System Administrator Level 2 with Security Clearance
Location: Annapolis Junction

Jovian Concepts, Inc is looking to hire ax26 System Administrator Level 2 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area.x26  x26  A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph from the MD Customer is required. No CCAx
27s will be accepted at this time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations,monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.

Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages LINUX and Windows operating systemsx
26 and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. x26  
* Experience with the following technologies: LINUX, Windows, containers/cloud environments, storage management, virtualization, ansible and containers dockers.
* IP networking and Firewall experience.
* Experience with automation tools is a bonus.
* Have a solid understanding of PKI/TLS/crypto including crypto policies
* Great deal of experience with SSP compliance, maintaining STE/STN compliance and support on Linux systems, managing accounts, network rights, access to systems and equipment and implementing security procedures and tools. Configure and install systems hardware or software and maintain server and domain security requirements. Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
* Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
* Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
* Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
* Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
* Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
* Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
* Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.
* Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
* Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Requirements A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph from the MD Customer is required. No CCAx

Qualifications:

* Ten (10) x26 years experiencex
26 as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity isx

* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university isx
26 required. Five (5) years ofx
26 additionalx
26 SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.x26  
* Compliance with DoD 8570; such as Security + CE or a qualifying certification is required.
