Senior Software QA Test Engineer – Test Automation

In need of a QA Test Engineer with Automation focus under the supervision of the Manager, QA and Testing to provide support for a series of FEP initiatives and solution sustainment.
Focus on Test Automation Development, Execution and Sustainment for FEP Bridge Projects

Job responsibilities would include
:

  • Plan, design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites using tools such as SOATest, SOAPUI, Selenium and UFT.
  • Develop and contribute to automated test frameworks using commercial and open source Technologies.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and scale test framework and automation servers.
  • Integrate testing artifacts with Continuous Integration CI Jenkins server.
  • Develop and generate test data using automated tools and scripts.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute test automation in a multi-server environment. Requires the ability to define and maintain testing environments and/or configuration.
  • Write complex SQL queries for retrieval of required data using TOAD or SQL Plus (Strong knowledge of Oracle database required) and integrate into test automation suite or custom scripts/programs.
  • Demonstrate strong and clear communication skills with the ability to work with all project members including representatives from business and technical groups of people in a collaborative environment.
  • Plan and execute test cases and performs ad-hoc testing where necessary and issues a detailed defect report
  • Additional technical QA and Testing duties as assigned.

    • Skills/Qualifications (Key qualification in bold)

    • 2. 5+ years of Testing experience with strong background in Software QA and Testing in a multi-server environment. Including back-end and front-end testing activities.
    • 3. 4+ years of experience in developing and maintaining test automation suites using tools such as SOATest, UFT, and Selenium.
    • 4. 4+ years of relational database experience including generating complex queries, setting up database connections, and automating query processing.
    • 5.
      Experience building and maintaining test automation using Java.
    • 6. Solid experience working with automation test tools such as SOATest and SOAPUI to write and execute backend automated tests.
    • 7. Proven experience with backend testing using Java, Shell scripts, Unix commands, and SQL.
