Informatica Software Testers Needed

Lanham, Maryland

Description:

Our client is seeking several ITS and SITS Informatica Software Testers to join our team. These positions will be located in Lanham, Maryland. This is a Very, Very long term contract opportunity working on-site.

• Individual will conduct functional and/or integration testing of multiple programs in a client/server and/or IBM mainframe environment.
• Programs typically support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax processing pipeline and master file systems.
• Individual will use IRS or Contractor-developed documentation to construct test cases with predetermined results and test data to verify program functionality and/or interfaces through assigned systems.
• Individual will review output to determine whether or not the test results fulfill the established requirements, and if necessary, notify the responsible programmers, both orally and in writing, of errors, omissions, and inconsistencies in the programs and/or documentation.
• If the candidate were to have a MBI clearance – that would be fantastic

This position may be filled at either an ITS or SITS labor category level:

Basic Qualifications for an SITS:

• BS degree and 9 years IT experience OR High school diploma and a minimum of 13 years of progressive IT experience
• 3 years of software testing experience
• Knowledge of Informatica ETL tool and/or Informatica software testing
• Ability to obtain a Minimum Background Investigation security clearance

Basic Qualifications for an ITS:

• BS degree and 5 years IT experience OR High school diploma and a minimum of 9 years of progressive IT experience
• 3 years of software testing experience
• Knowledge of Informatica ETL tool and/or Informatica software testing
• Ability to obtain a Minimum Background Investigation security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possession of a current IRS background investigation
• Knowledge of current IRS tax administration software applications
• Experience with IRS tax administration systems
