As an AI/ML Software Engineer, you’ll help build advanced analytics and high-performance computing capabilities that turn massive streams of data into actionable insight. This role sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cloud engineering, and scalable systems — supporting missions where speed, accuracy, and reliability are not optional.

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required) — in-scope poly within 7 years

You’ll work alongside engineers, data scientists, and mission experts to design and deliver software that can operate at scale and at speed.

Your day may include:

• Building and integrating AI/ML components into operational systems
• Developing high-performance applications optimized for large data processing and GPU acceleration
• Writing scalable backend services in C++, Python, or Go
• Designing infrastructure using Terraform and deploying into AWS environments
• Supporting streaming analytics pipelines that process real-time data
• Troubleshooting performance bottlenecks and optimizing system throughput
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to move prototypes into production

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen

Education and Experience:

• Seven (7) years of Software Engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree

• Experience with AI/ML development or system integration
• Terraform experience deploying infrastructure in AWS
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and/or Golang
• Experience developing high-performance or GPU-accelerated applications
• Experience working with large-scale streaming data analytics systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex mission environments

• Experience with distributed data platforms or big-data ecosystems
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and containerization
• Familiarity with performance tuning, parallel processing, or HPC environments
• Exposure to operational mission systems

AI/ML frameworks, Python, C++, Golang, Terraform, AWS cloud services, GPU computing environments, distributed streaming analytics platforms, high-performance computing techniques, scalable backend services, and cloud-native deployment tools.

The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. This range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
