Systems Engineer, IT Consultant
We are seeking a system engineer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more.

- Provide system engineering support for a Human Resource Applications and Services organization's software development team.
- Act as the direct liaison between Government leadership and the development team to establish priorities, facilitate agile processes, and communicate with team members, the Government, and end user customers.
- Work with the technical team and Government leadership to prepare schedule inputs, communicate dependencies, impediments, and risks, and communicate with Freedom Program Management team.
- Be willing to tackle challenges and be comfortable collaborating in a fast‑paced, highly visible team environment.
- TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
- A bachelor’s degree and fourteen (14) years’ experience as an SE in programs is required. Nineteen (19) years’ experience as an SE may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience as a system engineer on a software development team with diverse skillsets and experience levels.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Willingness to learn and develop strong understanding of new technologies and products.
- Experience developing and updating technical documentation, including project schedules.
- Experience with requirements management to include working with customers to capture clear definition of done.
- Experience with Atlassian Suite products including Confluence & managing Jira.
- Strong project leadership skills to include identifying opportunities, risks and communicating with all levels of contractor and Government leadership.
Estimated salary range: $185,000-$215,000 (annualized USD).
