Position: Mid-Level Cyber Threat Analyst [$248k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance
Location: Annapolis Junction

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.

Summary:

• Analyze data and prioritize vulnerabilities to prevent and eradicate threats to critical systems.
• Conduct continuous research and analysis on emerging threats and threat actor activity.
• Articulate requirements for capabilities and tools.
• Document findings and create detailed reports.
• Utilize Elasticsearch and Splunk for security information and event management. Qualifications & Compensation:

Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 7+ years
• Total Compensation: $248k+ yearly

Job Description:

• Conduct continuous research and analysis on emerging threats and threat actor activity to identify and assess the capabilities and activities of cyber criminals and/ or foreign intelligence entities.
• Interact, implement, and manage cross domain solutions.
• Analyze data and prioritize vulnerabilities with the goal to prevent and eradicate threats.
• Understand data in various formats to extract and enrich information to enhance its value.
• Analyze, correlate, and synthesize threat data from diverse sources.
• Work with development teams and articulate requirements/enhancements to capabilities and tools.
• Experience with XKS creating general queries, fingerprinting, and identifying atypical events.
• Experience with Elastic/Splunk or other Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
• Understanding of data transfer protocols and procedures in alignment with standards including RMF, NIST, and ICD 503.
• Document findings and create detailed reports to ensure tradecraft is continually updated. Present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally with a team of cyber analysts, data integrators, and developers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
