Position: SOC Analyst II - Secret Clearance with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a SOC Analyst II - Secret Clearance in Fulton, MD. This SOC Analyst II - Secret Clearance will join a networking systems organization and be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats, playing a critical role in protecting infrastructure and sensitive data. The SOC Analyst II - Secret Clearance role requires strong technical and analytical skills in a hybrid setting, with a requirement to work onsite two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) in Fulton, MD.

Responsibilities for the SOC Analyst II - Secret Clearance include:
* Monitor, review, and respond to security alerts using Splunk, identifying and escalating threats when necessary

* Perform Tier 2 incident investigations, including triage, analysis, and response to security events

* Secure and monitor AWS cloud environments, ensuring compliance and threat visibility

* Utilize tools such as Tenable, Microsoft Defender, and AWS Config to detect vulnerabilities and enforce security controls

* Escalate complex security incidents and document findings for continuous improvement and audit readiness
Qualifications for the SOC Analyst II - Secret Clearance include:
* 2+ years of experience as a SOC Analyst in a cybersecurity environment

* Hands-on experience analyzing alerts and logs within Splunk

* Experience securing AWS environments and working with cloud security tools

* Proficiency with security tools such as Tenable, Microsoft Defender, and AWS Config

* Active Secret Clearance

* Ability to work onsite 2 days per week (Tuesday & Thursday) in Fulton, MD
Compensation for the SOC Analyst II - Secret Clearance include: * $105,000-$120,000, based on experience
