Job SummaryThis role provides first‑level technical support and onsite assistance for end users. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity issues and ensuring timely resolution of service requests.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Tier 1 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot systems running Microsoft Windows.
- Support email and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft 365.
- Troubleshoot basic networking issues (Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, printers).
- Perform hardware deployments, workstation setups, and imaging.
- Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or Tier 3 teams as needed.
- Provide onsite field support when required.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
- 1–3 years of help desk or desktop support experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities.
- Certification:
Security+.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related technical field.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.
- Experience in enterprise or multi‑site environments.
- Valid driver’s license (if field travel is required).
