Senior DevOps Engineer + TS​/SCI-FS Poly Security Clearance

Position: Senior DevOps Engineer [$301k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance
Location: Annapolis Junction

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.

Summary:

• Oversee application deployments, software configuration, and server management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and outages.
• Requires strong expertise in Dev Ops methodologies, Linux, AWS, Docker Swarm, Git Lab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Git.
• Desired skills include Python, NiFi, Elasticsearch, Java, Spring, and MongoDB. Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree:
Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 17+ years
• Total Compensation: $301k+ yearly (tentative)

Job Description:

• Deploy applications and install/configure complex software.
• Manage network servers and technology tools.
• Monitor and maintain system performance and troubleshoot issues/outages.
• Participate in a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support (roughly one week out of every 4-6 weeks), with eligibility for 4 additional hours during on-call weeks.
• Required technical skills include experience with:
Linux; AWS, MASH, and VMs;
Docker Swarm;
Deployments of distributed web applications (e.g. Git Lab CI/CD);
Terraform scripting and VM provisioning;
Ansible scripting and development;
Thorough understanding of Docker & Docker Compose container technology;
Git.
• Desired technical skills include experience with:
Python scripting and development;
NiFi maintenance and configuration;
Elasticsearch maintenance and configuration;
Java / Spring Boot (troubleshooting error logs); HAProxy;
