Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop. Conversant with bookmarks, drill through, sync slicer, interactions.
Conversant with Power BI Modelling concepts in terms of merged queries, append queries, bidirectional filters, cardinality, creation of tables within the model.
Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence. Should be conversant with Import mode and direct query, Pros and Cons of both.
Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
Conversant with DAX functions for aggregation and transformation of data in Power BI.
Creation of measures using DAX.
Deployment and managing Power BI reports in service.
Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
Conversant with tools like DAX.
Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries.
Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards.
Very good communication skills must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and with internal teams.
