Location: Newtown Square

Purpose and Objective

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Sr. Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to design and develop systems, applications, products, services and data to optimize / automate SAP’s business processes and improve work efficiency.

Expectations and Tasks

Engage with business stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver solutions to business requirements.
Perform complex data and system development along with technology integration through learned technology coding languages.
Facilitate the system, service, and product lifecycle, and ensure stable, secure, performant and highly available operations for and between system and cloud services.
Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation.
Manage cloud technologies, the associated architectural styles (e.g., microservices, containerization, serverless architectures) and web development stacks.
Apply agile software delivery process and the industry-standard toolset for Dev Ops implementation.
Apply modern data processing technologies and methods, such as non‑SQL databases or data lakes.
Apply modern SaaS platform, integration, and extensibility concepts.

Education and Occupational Experience

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience

SAP S/4 HANA and Net Weaver solutions;

SAP technical architecture and infrastructure management;

Converge cloud infrastructure design and tailor‑build for SAP products and dependent solutions;

Multi‑Cloud infrastructure management;

High Availability and Disaster Recovery setup and administration for Business‑critical applications;

SAP Solution Manager and CHARM change management support;

Leverage BODS and BOBJ for data migration and integration of SAP systems;

Technical support and handling of SAP Basis and HANA administration, database, and operating system;

Validate and orchestrate customer IT landscape build, ensuring technical specification meets industry and application standards;

Technical blueprint documentation of operational procedure and detailed design for support coverage accuracy.

Compensation Range Transparency

The annual base salary range for this position is $146,078 - $200,200. The targeted combined range for this position is $146,078 - $227,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon education, skills, experience, scope, and location.
