Client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) who will play a key role as a part of the Portfolio Construction Solutions technology team. As a member of the agile scrum team, the BA will work closely with product owners, software engineers, the scrum master to ensure deliverable requirements are clearly defined, features are developed, tested and delivered successfully.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst who is a part of a software development team

Deep understanding of and actively participant in all phases of the software development life cycle

Extensive experience working within an Agile scrum software development team and using Rally as the agile tool

Work closely with a variety of internal and external business and technology partners to ensure that all requirements are understood and documented in Rally as BIs, MBIs, Features, user stories, defects as appropriate.

Apply a lean agile mindset to work and supports organizational agility

Independently work with subject matter experts to ensure clarity of the problem/opportunity and elicit requirements

Demonstrate strong analytical skills in requirements analysis, data analysis, issue troubleshooting and resolution

Demonstrate understanding of multiple technologies/applications as well as system end to end architecture and dependencies for a web application

Strong ability to articulate or explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences

Proficient with writing SQL queries to set up and retrieve test data from a relational database

Create functional test cases and perform manual functional and user flow testing

Strong written, verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills

Ability to work across teams and collaborate with other BAs, developers and engineering teams

Preferred Experience:

Prior Financial industry experience

Some software development experience

Interview Process:

There will be 2 rounds (video) – 30 mins for the first round, 30-60 mins in the second round.
