Purpose and Objective
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Principal Business Process Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions.
Expectations and Tasks- Map business processes to solution requirements.
- Champion and lead disruptive business innovation.
- Provide thought leadership around the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise.
- Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives.
- Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant on-premise, cloud and hybrid solutions, by applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards.
- Plan transitions of customer solution landscapes.
- Drive deployment of best practice of business processes for specific LoBs.
- Support pre‑sales activities.
- Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies.
- Support in escalated projects.
- Occasionally take over responsibility as a (sub‑)project lead or team lead for a service delivery.
- Support line manager(s) in people development tasks.
- Deliver customer workshops and trainings.
- Support in partner‑led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success.
- Introduce SAP and industry‑leading practices for complex business requirements based on experience.
- Drive the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas.
- Mentor business process consultants.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skillsand Competencies Experience
Position requires up to 80% domestic or international travel to various and unanticipated client sites.

Compensation Range TransparencyThe annual base salary range for this position is $125,611 - $206,640. The targeted combined range for this position is $151,900 - $358,300. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
