Power BI Analyst - Delta Point Security Clearance

Position: Power BI Analyst - Delta Point with Security Clearance
Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground

Delta Point (DP) is currently seeking a Power BI Analyst to support our customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.

* Build and optimize data models, including star schemas, relationships, and performance-focused data structures.

* Develop and troubleshoot DAX measures, calculations, and business logic.

* Utilize Power Query and Power BI Dataflows to cleanse, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources.

* Create and maintain automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate.

* Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments.

* Partner with business leaders to identify key metrics, performance indicators, and reporting needs.

* Present insights and recommendations to leadership in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.

* Troubleshoot reporting, data quality, and system issues while identifying opportunities for process improvement.

* Develop and maintain technical documentation, report specifications, and user guidance materials.

* Support end users by providing training, assistance, and ongoing enhancements to reporting solutions.

* Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve efficiency and solve business challenges.

* Other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements The qualified candidate will possess the following experience:
* 2-4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or a related field.

* Active Secret Clearance

* Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, including:
* Data modeling, relationships, and cardinality
* Star schema design and optimization
* Dashboard and report development
* Data visualization best practices
* Creating and troubleshooting DAX measures and calculations.

* Developing automated workflows using Power Automate.

* Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.

* Presenting data insights and recommendations to executive leadership.

* Leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, solve technical challenges, and support continuous learning.
Preferred Skills
* Exposure to or experience with Palantir Foundry, including Ontology concepts and application development.

* Experience supporting multiple business functions, departments, or cross-functional teams.

* Familiarity with data governance, reporting standards, and analytics best practices.

* Experience developing enterprise reporting solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.

* Experience working with Microsoft 365 data sources, including SharePoint, Teams, and Excel.

* Working knowledge of Power Query and Power BI Dataflows for data transformation and integration.
