Information Technology Specialist; Security Security Clearance

Position: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SECURITY) with Security Clearance
Location: Andrews AFB

Duties
* You will serve as the Information Technology Cyber Security Analyst for Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and NCMS Database (DB) Administrator.
* You will monitor PKI systems for security breach, suspicious activity, identify vulnerabilities, respond to incidents to contain damage, investigate source and implement recovery measures.
* You will perform as the technical expert in database development and management, data statistics, computer interfacing and technical applications.
* You will serve as a Development Programmer and provides IT support for NCMS database projects.
* You will develop and maintain information and data management processing procedures to facilitate interface between database access on the Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET)
* You will conduct performance testing, administer and maintain database users and access roles for objects contained in databases for automation and communication systems. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* This position may require a two-year DCIPS trial period.
* All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
* This position is designated as a Cyber Workforce position in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) primary work role of 451 (System Administrator) and 421 (Database Administrator). Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Assisting with the implementation of the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to fulfill unique organization requirements;
* Monitoring PKI systems for security breach, suspicious activity, and vulnerabilities to respond to incidents to contain damage, investigate source and implement recovery measures;
* Communicating IT technical requirements to IT and non-IT personnel;
* Conducting risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed database systems;
* Monitoring and evaluating systems' compliance with IT security requirements;
* Troubleshooting, recovering, adjusting, modifying, and improving databases to solve problems and provide support that minimizes interruptions in service to customers.
