Position: Mid-Level AI/ML Engineer [$274k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance
Location: Annapolis Junction

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.

Summary:

• Design, create, test, and productize AI/ML algorithms and models.
• Manage model architecture, data pipelines, and metrics.
• Apply data engineering, data governance, and software development principles.
• Train, deploy, and monitor models.
• Develop scalable solutions using Python, Java, C, R, PyTorch, and Tensor Flow.
• Perform statistical analysis, implement machine learning algorithms, and ensure data and model quality.
• Oversee system integration and algorithm testing.
• Research and implement AI/ML tools and data representation methods. Qualifications & Compensation:

Job Description:

• Design, create, test, and productize AI/ML algorithms to solve business challenges.
• Develop AI/ML models capable of learning and making predictions as defined by business logic.
• Proficient in all aspects of model architecture, data pipeline interaction, and metrics application, interpretation, and presentation.
• Familiarity with foundational concepts of application development, infrastructure management, data engineering, and data governance.
• Design and create scalable solutions for optimal performance through understanding training, retraining, deploying, scheduling, monitoring, and improving models.
• Lead geographically diverse teams and serve as a primary point of contact for AI-related matters, demonstrating exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Apply expert knowledge of multiple programming languages, including Python, Java, C, and R.
• Utilize standard machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and Tensor Flow.
• Select appropriate data sets and perform statistical analysis.
• Run machine learning algorithms and use results to improve models.
• Train and retrain systems when needed.
• Work with various ML libraries and packages.
• Provide system integration oversight.
• Oversee test and evaluation of AI and ML algorithms through an iterative design process to meet verification and validation requirements.
• Research and implement a broad range of AI and ML algorithms and tools.
• Design or select appropriate data and knowledge representation methods.
• Recognize software architecture, data modeling, and data structures.
• Transform and convert data science prototypes into scalable solutions.
• Verify data and model output quality.
• Identify differences in data distribution that affect model performance.
