Investment Performance Measurement & Data Analytics Consultant

The Solutions Consultant possessing strong business acumen (process & data/information) coupled with strong system application knowledge performs with minimal direction a variety of roles in the creation and maintenance of large enterprise wide/global complex solutions (including data infrastructure, reporting, automation and applications) that address the informational and analytical needs of the Investment Management, Investment Research, Global Trading, or Global Investment and Institutional Client Services (GICS) divisions.

These roles stem from all phases of the project lifecycle and include research, requirements gathering, solution design, solution recommendation, application development, and system testing.

Education:

4+ years of Financial Investment industry data experience Candidates would have investment performance measurement and systems integration experience. This is a blend of operational and technical experience. Bachelor's Degree and a minimum 5 years professional experience in an analytical position involving data management and collection, modeling and interpretation across complex data sets. Demonstrated experience in advanced strategic business visioning and planning skills for Investment Operations such as Performance Measurement Operations, Ability to apply acquired knowledge from prior Performance Measurement Operations experience effectively in new and complex situations Demonstrated advanced analytical and problem solving skills Must be able to meet with Investment Operations clients of varying levels to gather, document, and analyze system specifications and requirements, work closely with developers and testers in the fast-paced environment.

Possesses ability to use effective facilitation skills and techniques to effectively influence with clients at various levels in the organization Possesses high level of Performance operations, product and/or system knowledge Demonstrated successful mastery of all components of the Systems Lifecycle Development methodology in the context of major systems implementations and especially on projects and initiatives of high complexity
¿ Possesses effective influencing and negotiating skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of when and how to use business assessment and prior experience executing project discovery and investigation, including development of a Cost-Benefit Analysis for a project of moderate size Extensive experience working on multiple applications/projects supporting one business channel or extensive experience supporting technology-related initiatives for multiple TRP Business Channels

Able to manage change and cope with complex and ambiguous situations s experienced in practical application development and/or client solution delivery Strong knowledge of relational databases and concepts Strong SQL skills Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Skilled in the use of Visio or other process or flow chart tool Ability to master complex tasks with minimal supervision Demonstrated experience providing estimation for moderate to complex efforts Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Adaptable and able to learn quickly Unix Knowledge Knowledge of performance returns, attribution, risk and GIPS Knowledge of statistical data Experience in mapping business processes System Integration/System Implementation experience
