- We are seeking aTest Engineer to support the testing, validation, and performance evaluation ofHigh-Performance Computing (HPC) systems. The ideal candidate will develop and execute test plans to ensure system requirements are met while supporting integration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts. The successful candidate will work with engineering teams to analyze system performance, validate functionality, identify defects, and support mission-critical HPC environments using modern testing, automation, and data analysis tools.

- Responsibilities include:
- Develop and executetest plansto validate HPC system performance and functionality.
- Test and validate system requirements across complex computing environments.
- Automate testing tasks using
Bash and Python scripting. - Integrate and testREST APIssupporting HPC systems.
Develop complex database queries to analyze test results and system data. - Analyze logs, metrics, and test results using visualization and monitoring tools.
- Track, document, and support resolution of software and system defects.
- Support CI/CD testing processes and automated validation workflows.
- Collaborate with software, systems, and engineering teams to improve system reliability.
- Apply Agile methodologies and best practices to support development and testing efforts.
- U.S. Citizenshipwith an activeTS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- 8+ years of Test Engineering experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Four additional years of Test Engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience working with Linux command-line tools and environments.
- Proficiency with
Bash and Python scripting for automation. - Experience developing and executing test plans for HPC systems.
- Experience integrating and testing REST APIs.
- Experience with defect tracking and resolution processes.
- Experience analyzing logs and test data using tools such as Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana.
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools, including Git Lab CI.
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including Jira and Confluence.
- Experience using
Splunkfor searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine-generated data. - Familiarity withSAFe Agile principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation tools such as Ansible.
- Experience using
Git source control.
The pay range for this role is:
185, USD per year (Annapolis Junction, MD)
