Systems Administrator

• Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of information technology (IT) systems.
• Provide Tier1 (Help Desk) and Tier2 (Escalation) support, including problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and related hardware.
• Configure and manage UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems, install and load operating‑system software, and troubleshoot to maintain system integrity.
• Implement operating‑system enhancements to improve reliability and performance, and configure network components.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems involving server hardware, applications, and software integration.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, performing system capacity analysis and planning.
• Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
• Assist users in accessing and using IT systems and provide detailed feedback to internal customers and management.
• Coordinate escalation and communication of status to agency management.
• Remain involved in the resolution process for dispatch system and hardware problems.

• Fifteen (15) years of experience as a Systems Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Five (5) years of additional Systems Administrator experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
• DoD
  8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level
  
  I.
• Expert or mastery level knowledge of the work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Advanced knowledge of related disciplines and ability to identify links and potential impacts on projects, programs or systems.

Qualified applicants must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph.

• Salary range: $122,000 – $253,000, determined based on qualifications, experience, and expertise.
