Job Responsibilities
Trace Systems is seeking a Journeyman Network Engineer to provide Tier II network infrastructure and operational support for EACN at Joint Base Andrews. This mission-essential position supports classified and unclassified A2G2 services in a 24/7/365 operating environment.
- Configure, implement, and support EACN LAN/WAN infrastructure, operating systems, and computer data exchange requirements.
- Troubleshoot, repair or replace, configure, monitor, and upgrade classified and unclassified network equipment and systems.
- Support replacement of end‑of‑life hardware and software and perform approved installation, transition, and cutover activities.
- Review installation progress for accuracy, adherence to network design, and conformance with telecommunications standards.
- Support and maintain A2G2 hardware configurations and approved site‑installation requirements.
- Configure and maintain network security, monitoring, and analytics tools, including Service Now, Solar Winds, and Splunk.
- Implement and report USCYBERCOM, DISA, and Air Force tasking orders and STIG requirements.
- Validate security changes in the test environment before operational implementation and provide compliance status to Government engineers and the ISSM.

The project associated with this position is currently in the proposal stage.

In compliance with applicable state and local pay transparency requirements, the following compensation information is provided for this position. The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum compensation Trace reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation within the range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, skills, and performance.
Salary Minimum: $77,000
Salary Maximum: $100,000

Minimum Qualifications- Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret clearance (minimum); higher-level eligibility may be required based on assigned access.
