Salary Band: $ 60,000 to $75,000 ($28.85/hr to $36.05/hr)

An AV programmer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying code and user interfaces for AV control systems. Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot and fix any wiring or hardware issues with control systems. Collaborate with engineers to set audio levels for speakers and microphones, as well as system design changes. Support system installation, including any customer requests and providing onsite training to the customer.

• Interpret AV control system design drawings and identify system requirements and capabilities.
• Develop system code to integrate equipment from different manufacturers to create a cohesive user experience without errors.
• Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues.
• Design and deploy intuitive and user-friendly touch panel interfaces that ensure a seamless and efficient user experience.
• Configure AV equipment including processors, touch panels, switchers, DSPs, etc.
• Perform system testing and debugging to ensure reliable operation.
• Plan and execute deployment, configuration, testing and customer training.
• Maintain well documented code and system notes.

• Ability to maintain aclearance.
• 2+ years experience with object-oriented programming.
• Experience with GUI design and best practices.
• Self-starter/motivated individual
• Ability to work within and manage a flexible team environment with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task among several projects while being detail oriented.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, as well as establish and maintain a strong customer focused working relationship.
• Demonstrate the ability to maintain a consistent daily work schedule.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and Word, is required.

• Experience with AV programming languages (Extron, Crestron, AMX)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science
• Ability to build web user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 and Java Script
• Understanding of basic networking concepts
• Experience with audio engineering
• Ability to read and interface with software/hardware APIs

• High School or equivalent.

• must be able to obtain TS//SCI security clearance.
