Election Field Support Board of Elections Worcester

Pay: $30/hr

We are hiring Election Field Support staff to assist with upcoming Board of Elections operations. In this role, you will be assigned to early voting locations or election day polling sites to help ensure everything runs smoothly.

No prior election experience is required—training will be provided.

• Provide on-site support at assigned voting locations
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of equipment or setup issues
• Work alongside election staff, including Chief Judges and support teams
• Report and document any issues that arise
• Assist with ballot drop box pickups when needed
• Support additional tasks as directed by election leadership

Varies based on election needs (Early Voting & Election Day coverage)

• Assigned to a voting site within Worcester County
• May require travel between locations within the county and occasionally within the state
• Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle required)

• Must attend a pre-assignment meeting/training with the Election Director or designated staff before starting

• Reliable and professional individuals
• Comfortable following instructions and working in a team environment
• Ability to problem-solve and stay calm under pressure
• Willingness to work long hours on Election Day if needed
