EPIQ DESIGN SOLUTIONS, LLC. is seeking a Buyer III to lead complex procurement for our high-performance software-defined radio and RF sensing solutions. In this engineering-driven, collaborative environment, you will own sourcing of RF components, embedded hardware, software licenses, and related services that power mission-critical defense, government, and commercial programs. You'll partner closely with engineering and program teams, translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies, negotiate with key suppliers, and optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
This role offers high ownership, direct impact on advanced wireless sensing products, and the opportunity to help scale a fast-growing SDR innovator from concept through deployment.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex purchasing for RF, SDR, and embedded components to support product development and production
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT and electronic materials and services
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with key suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
- Partner with engineering and program teams to translate technical requirements into effective sourcing plans
- Manage supplier performance, risk, and continuity of supply for mission-critical programs
- Analyze spend, identify savings opportunities, and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
- Maintain accurate purchasing data in ERP/MRP systems and ensure compliance with policies
- Support new product introduction and rapid prototyping with agile, responsive buying
