Our firm has been retained to identify a strategic and results-oriented Vice President of Signage for our client, a premier leader in the marketing and advertising fabrication industry. This executive leadership role is responsible for the strategic and operational success of the entire Signage Division, overseeing everything from design and fabrication to production, installation, and complex project management.
The Vice President will drive profitability and operational excellence by leading a multidisciplinary team of directors and managers. Our client is looking for a leader who can foster a culture of accountability and innovation, ensuring that the division remains at the forefront of signage technology and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute growth plans that align with the client’s broader goals for quality and market expansion.
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations to ensure maximum production efficiency, strict quality standards, and on-time delivery.
- Financial Performance: Own the division’s P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to drive healthy margins.
- Business Development Support: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to secure major project bids and maintain key client relationships.
- Process Innovation: Implement new technologies and fabrication methods to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to safety standards, local building codes, and permitting requirements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Industrial Design, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Industry Expertise: Minimum 10 years of experience in signage (highly preferred), fabrication, or construction-related industries.
- Management: At least 5 years in a senior leadership role, with a proven track record of managing large-scale production and installation teams.
- Financial Acumen: Strong ability to analyze financial data and drive divisional profitability.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in signage materials, fabrication methods, and installation processes.
- Workflow Optimization: Mastery of project management and lean continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leadership Presence: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on mentoring and talent development.
