** Assistant Shift Manager – Slots at MGM National Harbor**. In this role, you’re at the heart of the action—guiding your team, elevating the guest experience, and ensuring every shift runs smoothly. ** THE DAY-TO-DAY:
*** Lead, motivate, and engage Slot Operations team members throughout your shift
* Foster a positive, high-performing work environment that supports employee growth and retention
* Deliver exceptional guest service aligned with MGM’s S.H.O.W. service standards
* Oversee daily slot floor operations, ensuring team members are executing duties effectively
* Communicate consistently with staff—sharing updates, coaching performance, and addressing feedback
* Train, mentor, and develop employees to meet departmental goals and advance their careers
* Resolve guest and employee concerns professionally and efficiently
* Delegate responsibilities and manage workloads to ensure seamless operations
* Ensure compliance with company policies, gaming regulations, and operational procedures
* Monitor and account for company assets, equipment, and sensitive keys during each shift
* Assist with performance management, including documentation, coaching, and disciplinary actions
* Support Shift Manager with projects, reporting, and operational initiatives
** THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
*** At least 18 years of age
* High School Diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred
* 2+ years of experience in a customer service or hospitality environment
* Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

JOB DESCRIPTION:

**** Pay Range:
** The pay range for this role is:$69,800.00 - $93,000.00

This range represents a good faith estimate of the salary range that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s incentive plan.
