Position Summary
Senior Program Manager at Catalent Pharma Solutions in Harmans, MD – FDA‑licensed CGMP facility for Gene Therapies.
Work schedule:
Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, 100% onsite. The role oversees client contracts and leads the full program lifecycle—initiating, planning, executing, and monitoring—to drive program objectives within scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
- Lead and deliver program objectives within scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
- Ensure adherence to sound project management practices.
- Balance multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Develop and maintain overall project plans and schedules (including tech transfer).
- Maintain collaborative, solution‑focused communication with clients.
- Provide regular project updates and progress reports.
- Monitor milestones, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on‑time, high‑quality completion.
- Troubleshoot issues and promote innovative, data‑driven solutions.
- Coach and mentor other program managers.
- Strengthen program management capabilities across the organization.
- Apply project management expertise with knowledge of biological sciences and finance.
- Drive programs forward and overcome obstacles independently.
- Lead without direct authority and influence stakeholders.
- Build strong cross‑functional relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
- Adapt within evolving organizational and program structures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (required).
- Advanced degree (MS, MBA, PhD) preferred.
- 5–7+ years of direct experience in contract development or manufacturing.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Working knowledge of biologics fermentation, cell culture, purification, and analytics (preferred).
- Experience in biologics preferred.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
Anticipated salary range in Maryland: $118,720 to $163,240, plus an annual bonus when eligible.
