Job Title: Guest Services Supervisor

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift/ rotating weekends as needed

Position Overview: The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of housekeeping, janitorial, and linen services to ensure a clean, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for clients, staff, and visitors. This role involves supervising, training, coordinating workflow, and overseeing quality for hospitality services staff and/or contracted vendors, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to cleanliness standards across assigned facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision and Oversight:
  • Directly supervise housekeeping, janitorial, and linen services staff and/or contracted vendors.
  • Assign responsibilities and monitor workflow to foster accountability, consistency, and high service quality.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct routine inspections of resident areas, offices, common spaces, and other assigned facility areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Address environmental service concerns promptly and escalate operational issues as necessary.
  • Operational Coordination:
  • Serve as the point of contact for hospitality and environmental service-related concerns at the facility level.
  • Establish staff schedules and assignments based on operational needs.
  • Staff Development:
  • Provide onboarding, orientation, coaching, and continuous performance feedback to hospitality staff.
  • Conduct shift huddles, staff meetings, and individual check-ins to enhance communication, accountability, and staff development.
  • Inventory and Supply Management:
  • Oversee linen inventory, supply management, and efforts to reduce loss.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to support linen stewardship and environmental service initiatives.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work with contracted vendors to ensure service standards and scopes of work are met.
  • Partner with Dining, Clinical, Administrative, Facilities, and Behavioral Health teams to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Participate in operational meetings and quality improvement discussions as required.
  • Provide updates to leadership regarding staffing, service quality, operational concerns, and performance metrics.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance:
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding all company information.
  • Complete all required training as designated by the company and relevant accreditation/licensing entities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Provide supervision, coaching, workflow oversight, and performance support to housekeeping, janitorial, and hospitality services staff, while assisting with oversight of contracted environmental service vendors.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience supervising housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, environmental services, or related operational teams is required.
  • Experience with contracted vendors or outsourced service providers is preferred.
  • Background in healthcare, behavioral health, hospitality, residential, or similar service environments is advantageous.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and staff development capabilities.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, and environmental service operations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational standards in a dynamic environment.
