Field Service Technician

Overview

ASGCO Manufacturing, Inc. is a manufacturer and turn-key service provider of bulk material handling equipment, including conveyor systems, conveyor components, screens and wear parts to the aggregate, cement, recycling and other bulk material handling industries. We are looking for Field Service / Conveyor Belt Technicians to install, service and repair conveyor belts and components with experience on industrial jobsites (e.g., aggregate, asphalt, ready-mix, quarries and other industrial/manufacturing plants).

We provide in-house training programs for advancement. Any construction or millwright-type jobs including steel fabrication, welding, proper rigging techniques and any conveyor experience is a plus. $1500 Sign-on Bonus.

• Perform field service visits to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment.
• Utilize welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide quality service.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate service schedules and tasks.

• MSHA Surface and/or Underground Miner Qualifications.
• Conveying Equipment Maintenance Experience.
• Mechanical Fabrication Skills.
• Torch Cutting and Welding Skills.
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
• Mining Equipment Repair.

• Weekend, Weekday, and Holiday Work Schedule as Needed.
• Travel to Customer Location.
• Some shift work.
• Some Overnight Stays.
• Ability to Lift up to 100 lbs.
