Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, technically skilled Electronic Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team. This position supports the production, assembly, and testing of electrical and electronic systems and subsystems used in advanced industrial equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and interested in long-term career growth within a manufacturing environment that provides training and advancement opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform a variety of manufacturing and assembly tasks, including cable assemblies, component subassemblies, and device builds
- Apply basic machine wiring techniques such as cutting, stripping, terminating, soldering, and crimping wires
- Assemble electronic components and systems according to specifications, schematics, and blueprints
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to build electronic devices and mechanical assemblies
- Assemble and wire housings and enclosures
- Kit components and subassemblies for production use
- Perform low-level testing and complete associated production documentation (manufacturing orders, travelers, and transfers)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all published work instructions, procedures, and safety protocols
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and progress toward higher-level assembler responsibilities
- Manufacturing and production setting
- Standing, repetitive motion, and manual assembly required
- Use of tools, testing equipment, and ladders or lifting devices as needed
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of relevant experience
- Technical training or an associate degree in electronics preferred
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly involving electrical or electronic systems, is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small components
- Intermediate math skills, including fractions, decimals, and metric measurements
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to maintain focus while performing repetitive tasks
Physical Requirements:
- Good visual acuity and color differentiation (corrected or uncorrected)
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds from floor to bench height
- Ability to access elevated work areas using ladders or lifting equipment
Compensation: $41,000 - $47,000 a year
