Description
The objective of this position is to exceed the customer’s expectation of service by assuring the safe transportation and delivery of food to customer locations, following company policies and procedures. Assuring shipment of temperature controlled and undamaged product, proper count of goods at customer locations, assuring inventory levels are FIFO in the customer locations.
Schedule and CompensationSchedule:
40 hours a week. 1st shift, 6:00am to 2:30pm five days a week, with Monday and Tuesdays off (schedule may be subject to change due to business needs). This position pays $16 per hour.
Skills and Abilities
- 1-3 years in related position, experience in sanitation required
- Required to complete SQF paperwork for assigned duties
- Work independently
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English to effectively communicate, follow written instructions, complete documentation, and ensure safety and accuracy in daily operations
- The ability to lift 20-50 pounds regularly
- The ability to respond quickly to sounds
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
- The ability to work for short period of time in cooler and freezer
- Lifting, carrying, walking, standing kneeling, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling for long periods
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1-year related experience
- Able to follow detailed cleaning procedures and implement or improve on existing ones
- Work with cleaning chemicals daily
- Ability to operate sanitation equipment (mop, broom and or vacuum)
- Schedule 3rd shift - Work week is Sunday-Friday
- Ability to work in the cold/freezer
- Cleanliness of entire facility
- Emptying and cleaning garbage bins
- Cleaning kitchen, bathrooms, equipment, walls, and stairs
- Inventory management of cleaning supplies
- Works with all departments to assure safe clean working environment
- Follows HACCP, GMP, requirements are met or exceeded
