Job Description:

In this role as a Manufacturing Technician, candidate will focus primarily on supporting and improving equipment for ventilator manufacturing.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Carry out preventive maintenance

• Optimize lifecycle of maintenance parts and reduce cost

• Improve machine availability and reduce breakdown to minimize production downtime

• Advise in maintenance approach and update maintenance plan to ensure quality and customer satisfaction

• Manage and operate all PM & calibration (when applicable) system labels

• Operate independently within existing procedures, methods and techniques that may not fully sufficient to give direction on critical points

• Act as a senior towards junior maintenance technicians

• Suggest and execute complex improvements or repairs on a significant proportion of the machinery

• Work on difficult and new machinery; (mechanical or electrical/electronic work)

• Create documentation and release it via simple engineering change orders

• Follow specific work instructions to modify or repair equipment or product

Requirements:

• High school diploma required, Associate's degree in engineering/technical field preferred.

• Ability to perform, as a maintenance technician, non-repetitive assignments that are mostly stated in general terms and that require interpretation and some consultation from engineers

• Maturity to gather information and choose from different possibilities HOW to best carry out the assignment, adapting known solutions based on experience and basic analysis

• Demonstrated ability to work with others in multidisciplinary teams

• Strong technical and problem solving skills

• Motivation to learn and improve technical abilities

• Proven communication skills
