Location: Hanover
PROCESSING OPERATORS - Night Shift (7:00pm-7:00am)
Work just 15 days a month with a rotating schedule.
(Bi-weekly
Schedule:
work Monday & Tuesday, off Wednesday & Thursday, work Friday, Saturday & Sunday, off Monday & Tuesday, work Wednesday & Thursday, off Friday Saturday & Sunday then the schedule starts over)
- Operate stretch blow molding machines to produce quality, rigid-plastic PET containers.
- Start and stop stretch blow molding machines.
- Perform routine inspections, cleaning & lubricating and/or tightening of machine assemblies.
- Perform container inspections using test equipment, statistical quality methods & visual inspection techniques.
- Pack containers into boxes/cartons at designated production-line speeds according to specifications & stack packed cartons to build 4 ft. high units.
- Safely operate lift trucks to move materials.
- Operate stretch blow molding machines, pull seepage, apply SPC methodologies for initiating machine adjustments, change materials, assist in changeovers, and identify start and stop of out-of-spec production (held ware).
- Fill in as Packaging Technician when needed to complete orders.
- Maintain and adhere to established Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Safety Quality Foods (SQF) compliance requirements.
- Adhere to Food Safety Compliance.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent attendance.
- Good housekeeping skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of product identification and basic math skills.
- Fork‑lift experience.
- Perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.
- Physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Recognize sounds and alarms in a production environment.
- Complete routine paperwork accurately.
- Work with automated equipment.
- Operate a scanner.
