About the Role
Join a dynamic production team as an Operator 2, Machine in Sparks, MD (Zip: 21152). This is a contractor position with a pay rate of $18.55 per hour, working B shift every other week-36 hours (Mon-Wed) and then 48 hours (Mon-Thu). Potential for full-time employment.

This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with opportunities to develop your technical and production skills.

Responsibilities

- Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery following standard operating procedures
- Perform filling, packing, assembling, labeling, and inspection tasks under general supervision
- Maintain accurate records and logs in compliance with FDA, GMPs, and ISO
9000 standards
- Execute routine utility and packaging operations with attention to detail
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production targets
- Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as assigned
- Adhere to safety and quality guidelines at all times

Required Skills and Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years' experience operating production or packaging machinery
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow written specifications in English
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible or extended hours and maintain punctual attendance
- Proven ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Preferred Skills

- Experience in FDA-regulated or GMP/ISO
9000 manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with production record-keeping and inspection processes
- 5+ years relevant experience
