Maryland; North East - 3rd Shift Forklift Operator

Overview

Full-Time Forklift Operator position in North East, MD.

Schedule:

2nd Shift, Monday to Friday, 3:30pm - 1:00am. Hourly rate starting at $17.20 - $21.01 per hour with shift differential. This is a full-time position with eligible benefits and potential overtime as required by business demands.

• Operate a forklift to load trailers, pick orders to palletize, stack boxes, wrap pallets, and work with direct ship programs.
• Position forklifts, lifting platforms, or other materials and transport loads to designated areas.
• Load or unload materials on pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Weigh materials or products and record weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Perform safety inspections on forklifts, document the inspection, and submit the inspection report to the supervisor.
• Ensure manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system (production orders, materials, finished goods).
• Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system (raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, quality control data).
• Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
• Other ERP responsibilities and duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a stable work history with good references.
• Prior forklift or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat; and occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, and fumes or airborne particles.

• Must complete a background and pre-employment drug screen, and a pre-placement screening to assess physical requirements.
