Job SummaryThe Parts Inventory Specialist will support the Materials and Purchasing team by organizing, transferring, and maintaining inventory to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. The role coordinates closely with Materials, Manufacturing, and Shipping/Receiving to minimize downtime.
Duties and Responsibilities- Pick, pull, and stage parts for the manufacturing team throughout the day.
- Update the production schedule after parts are staged.
- Maintain an organized and efficient parts storage area.
- Work with manufacturing to establish staging areas for materials.
- Ensure parts are available when production begins.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Maintain accurate inventory locations and record inventory movement in the business system.
- Communicate clearly with service, manufacturing, and materials teammates.
- Keep the workspace clean, safe, and well‑organized.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 1‑2 years experience in a warehouse, inventory, or industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience handling parts, materials, or production components in a manufacturing setting.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of inventory or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tracking part numbers and inventory counts.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, labels, and production documentation.
- Safe operation of material handling equipment (e.g., forklift) or willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with production, materials, and manufacturing teams.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment with changing priorities.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Experience in a complex manufacturing environment is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent. Forklift certification preferred.
Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours). Optional flexible schedules include Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C outlining alternative hours and days off.
