Our client is a leading meat processing and protein manufacturing group supplying major retail, food service, and industrial customers.

Following a period of growth and strategic change, the business is seeking an experienced Fractional Transformation Director to lead a programme of operational improvement, manufacturing optimisation, and organisational transformation across its processing and supply chain network.

Reporting directly to the CEO and Board, the successful candidate will work closely with site leadership teams to improve operational performance, enhance profitability, optimise manufacturing assets, and build a platform for sustainable long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and execution of a business-wide transformation programme across multiple processing facilities.
  • Drive improvements in manufacturing performance, labour productivity, yield management, operational efficiency, and cost control.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities to improve profitability through operational excellence and process optimisation.
  • Review manufacturing footprint and operational structure, recommending opportunities for consolidation, rationalisation, and capacity optimisation where appropriate.
  • Support organisational redesign and capability development across operations and supply chain functions.
  • Improve planning, procurement, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain performance.
  • Develop robust performance management disciplines and KPI frameworks across all sites.
  • Lead complex change initiatives whilst maintaining customer service, food safety, quality, and operational continuity.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver sustainable EBITDA improvement and value creation.

We are seeking a highly accomplished transformation and operational leader with a track record of delivering significant performance improvement within food manufacturing or meat processing environments.
