Position: Skilled TIG Welder - 2nd Shift - $2 Shift Differential
Location: Grantsville

Position Overview

Earn more, work less, with long weekends. Our
Second Shift TIG Welder – Fabrication & Machining role lets you work just four days a week (4/10 schedule), enjoy a
30-minute paid lunch
, and earn a$2/hour shift differential for evening hours. You’ll thrive in a focused, less hectic shop environment while tackling high-precision TIG welding projects in stainless steel and aluminum
—and have three full days off to recharge.

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM (with a paid lunch break). You’ll weld and fabricate components from blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings using
GTAW (TIG) processes. Candidates should be highly skilled and proficient in TIG welding stainless steel and aluminum
, maintaining tight tolerances and exceptional weld appearance.

This individual will have a thorough understanding of all aspects of industrial fabrication and must be proficient with the products and services offered by the company, and must be flexible and willing to work extended hours as needed.

What You'll Do
  • Work 2nd Shift (4:00 PM–2:00 AM)
  • TIG weld stainless steel, aluminum, and other various metals
  • Safely and efficiently operate assigned equipment
  • Read, understand, and accurately execute work orders and quality assurance (QA) standards per job requirements
  • Tack-weld or weld components and assemblies, using welding equipment
  • Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
  • Perform quality checks during production to ensure parts/pieces meet tolerance requirements
Working Conditions
  • Sit, talk, hear, read, and write
  • Walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
  • Stand for extended periods of time
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

    Perform duties indoors in a shop setting with occasional work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of TIG welding 16-gauge to 1/4-inch stainless steel and aluminum
  • Must successfully complete a weld test required before employment
  • Ability to weld in either GTAW
  • Possess knowledge of metal plate types (steel, aluminum, stainless, galvanized, etc.) sizes, and shapes (beams, channels, angles, pipe, flat bar, etc.) preferred
  • Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in an industrial shop setting
  • Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measures, squares, protractors, compasses, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.
