Machine Operator- Press and Punch Brake

We’re looking for experienced brake press operators to join our manufacturing team.

• Set up and run brake press and punch press machinery, including choosing tooling and adjusting programs.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and job routings to determine machine settings and production requirements.
• Perform trial runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and part consistency.
• Conduct in‑process inspections, verifying parts meet tolerances and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols, maintain clean work areas, and perform minor maintenance.
• Meet daily production targets for accuracy, speed, and quality while minimizing waste.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education is a plus.
• 1–3 years of experience working with brake press or punch press machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop math.
• Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges.
• Good mechanical competence and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with CNC/programmed brake press equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or 5S is an advantage.
• Work in a non‑temperature‑controlled environment and wear the required PPE for the given position.
