Systems Engineer
Location: Hanover
Eligibility
- Must have an active TS/SCI with full scope polygraph clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Document user operations using front‑end tools to assist in test plan development.
- Assist documenting the architecture, dataflows, and workflows that make up a complex technology solution.
- Actively perform outreach for issues reported via the service desk to ensure clarity and completeness.
- Outreach to ensure solutions (bug fixes, enhancements, etc.) meet customer needs.
- Assist Dev Ops team with updating and maintaining system health & status tools.
- Monitor the health of the system during duty hours.
- Maintain existing architecture documentation by working with team leads to understand impact of work in progress.
- Assist the team in identifying risks and mitigations.
- Assist TTO Lead with weekly status reporting.
- Assist team leads with sprint activities: planning, ticket maintenance, retrospective.
- Assist team leads with or lead documenting release notes.
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Five years of system engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Experience with systems engineering documentation: system engineering plans, initial capabilities documents, requirements specifications, interface control documents.
Managing system requirements and derived requirements to ensure delivery of production systems compatible with system architecture (SOA, etc.).
Development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
Coordinating resolution of action items from configuration control board meetings, design reviews, and test reviews that require cross‑discipline coordination.
CompensationSalary range: $78,000 to $250,000 per year, determined by location, role, skill set, and level of expertise.
