Pickle Line Production Worker
Work on a high-speed food production line handling packaged products and empty glass bottles. Support production flow from loading materials to palletizing finished goods. Perform physical tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while following food safety and cleanliness standards.
Operate on high-speed production lines to ensure continuous operations. Load boxes (15–20 lbs) onto machines and remove completed boxes from the line. Open boxes of empty glass bottles and feed them into the production line. Stack finished product boxes onto pallets for storage or shipment. Perform boxing, packing, stacking, palletizing, and wrapping of products. Safely use pallet jacks and basic warehouse equipment.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets. Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards. Monitor production quality and report any issues promptly. Adapt to different production lines and equipment as required. Stand and perform repetitive tasks for 10–12 hour shifts.
Ability to lift 15–20 lbs repeatedly. Ability to stand for extended periods (10–12 hours). Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-speed production environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to perform general labor tasks. Commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards (GMP). Comfortable working around strong food smells (garlic, jalapeños, salsa, etc.). Willingness to wear PPE (gloves, hair/beard nets, ear plugs, safety glasses).
Ability to work in a diverse, busy environment with multilingual coworkers.
Experience in warehouse, production, or general labor preferred. BG as a production or line worker is a plus. Experience with palletizing, packing, stacking, and pallet jacks is beneficial. Comfortable working around high-speed machinery. Willingness to learn new equipment and production lines. Ability to identify and report safety or quality concerns.

Food manufacturing and warehouse setting with active production lines. Temperature varies: cold in winter, warm in summer (no AC/heating). Exposure to strong food aromas (garlic, sauces, etc.). Long shifts (10–12 hours), typically 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Large, diverse workforce (10–20 per line; up to 200 during peak). PPE provided; employees must bring steel-toe boots. Temporary workers required to wear company-provided royal blue shirts.
Lockers provided for personal items. Break room available with microwaves and vending machines.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hurlock, MD.
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
