Nice to know Report to Injection Tooling Leader, the Injection Tooling 3D Designer main goals are to ensure plant's New Product Introduction and production volume delivery objectives through the design of new injection molds and fixtures.

My day at Essilor Luxottica

• Design new injection tools and fixtures
• Deliver proper documentation (drawing, part list)
• Manage Tool Design KPIs such as efficiency, quality rate, and tool design output
• Comply with the local and group policies
• Comply with the ISO certifications and other group systems
• Contribute to the external/internal audits

Must have

• Professional formation as Tool 3D & 2D designer and mechanics
• Good Interpersonal Skills with the right communication level;
  English skills not mandatory but will be considered a plus
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in Product Engineering, designing injection molds, with a demonstrating process technical expertise and analytical skills
• Experience designing simple and complex injection molds with many mechanisms, molds with hot runner and hot sprue, molds for manual and automated extraction, single and multi-cavity molds, molds for insert molding; experience designing molds for products with high aesthetical & cosmetics appeal is a must
• Experience working directly or close to a Tool Shop
• Experience with 3D software PTC Creo and/or PDM software Windchill will be considered a plus
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies will be considered a plus
• Time management
