Starting Pay
: $18.00 per hour plus additional shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends.

This position is responsible for packing and unpacking eggs, daily shipping and receiving of eggs, data entry, reporting, and inventory of eggs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform egg inventory and maintain inventory on floor.
- Place hatching eggs in properly labeled containers, boxes, and buggies.
- Complete all necessary daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Wash and sanitize the dirty side box room with a pressure washer.
- Pull empty farm and buggies to the Packing Room and wash and sanitize the pull room with a pressure washer.
- Operate a high‑pressure and regular water hose, maintain foot pans and hand sanitizer, coordinate and pack export eggs into cases and racks using the Egg Packer, operate floor machine to clean and sanitize the Egg Room, maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate buggy washer, macerator, high‑pressure and regular water hose, wash buggies, maintain foot pans and hand sanitizers, wash boxes, make egg boxes, maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months. Employment gaps due to being laid off or providing child or elder care may be increased to 18 months.
- Must reside in the United States.
- Physical ability to use safe lifting techniques and handle egg buggies weighing 500‑1500 lbs and egg boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Must use safe lifting techniques; must be able to push/pull, stand majority of shift on a concrete floor, and meet vision requirements including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Must complete production paperwork or data entry into a computer‑based tracking system.
- Use safe lifting techniques to move egg buggies (500‑1500 lbs) and egg boxes (up to 50 lbs). Employees will regularly stand for majority of shift, walk, sit, use hand tools, reach with arms, balance, stoop, bend over, talk or hear. Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
- Operation of Egg Packing Machine, pressure washer, buggy washer.
- Work on wet, slippery surfaces and in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments.
- Personal protective equipment required: safety glasses, goggles, face shield, chemical gloves, waterproof apron, rubber boots; ear plugs and muffs as needed.
- Use of chemicals such as formaldehyde for disinfection and lubricants.
- Follow all applicable safety policies and procedures including Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, Lock out/Tag out, personal protective equipment, and mitigation of safety risks.
Relocation assistance not available. Preferred applicants: previous agricultural or production experience. Slot salary: $18.00 per hour. No incentives such as annual or long‑term incentive plans. Specific schedule: 4‑day 10‑hour shift; typical 40‑hour week; flexible based on production needs. May require a background check if required for Tyson roles. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials and other factors.
